Equine Assisted Learning

Looking for ways to help your child, teen, or young adult build self-confidence, sharpen communication, and step into leadership? Our Equine Assisted Learning program pairs hands-on horse care with the kind of growth that only comes from working alongside a 1,200 pound animal who insists on total honesty.
Through grooming, groundwork, and real barn responsibility at our partner farm in Glenwood, Maryland, participants leave with practical skills — and a positive recreational experience they’ll want to come back to.
Courage to Flourish
After shutting down her first occupational therapy practice, Katie started Courage to Flourish to express her desire for freshness, growth, and flourishing. It is a coaching practice with 1:1 coaching and occasional workshops.
Flourishing Littles
Katie’s Occupational Therapy practice, focused on targeted pediatric interventions. Flourishing Littles offers pediatric Occupational Therapy services with specializations in hippotherapy and handwriting.
